Great reviews from Jeremy Oliver

2008 YarraLoch Chardonnay

An excellent complete, complex and balanced chardonnay whose lightly smoky bouquet of grapefruit, melon and waxy floral notes is backed by meaty notes, lime juice and minerals. Long and complete, it's sumptuous and fruit-driven, with a deep expression of fruit, smoky reductive undertones, a fine marly undercarriage and a tightly focused cut of tangy, mineral acids. It finishes quite savoury, with genuine length and direction.

2010 YarraLoch Pinot Noir

Charmingly silky, smooth and fragrant, with weight, fleshiness, balance and elegance. A deep floral perfumed of rose petals, raspberries, cherries, sweet vanilla oak and briar reveals hints of mint and musk. Its long, pristine palate of pure cherry/berry fruit is supported by a genuinely firm, fine-grained and pliant undercarriage, finishing with gentle acids, softness and suppleness. Likely to gain weight and depth with time.
