I first tasted YarraLoch wines in Bendigo last year. They impressed me then, and taste even better now. This Yarra Valley dry white is an interesting, left-field pitch, and was made by Tasmanian Wine Show judge David Bicknell. His interpretation of the obscure Italian grape is a New World one, but very convincing nonetheless. It's smooth and minerally, with greengage notes and subtle unripe pear acidity. Moreish.
